Terumo Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced S&OP Planner to lead demand and supply planning across assigned product groups. You will partner with regional teams to forecast, manage inventory and drive KPI improvements, leveraging SAP S4/IBP and advanced analytics.
The role requires a degree in Business or Logistics and a track record in regional S&OP processes, with strong communication and change-management skills to align finance, sales, marketing and operations.

The Sales & Operations (S&OP) Planner will be primarily responsible to lead & manage the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for assigned product groups in Terumo Asia Pacific (TAP) to achieve optimal demand and supply management performance. The role will partner with the Country Supply Chain, Commercial and Marketing, Finance and uses sales, marketing, analytical and statistical data to effectively validate future product demands and partner with manufacturing sites to ensure supply. The duties include demand and supply planning, inventory management, analysing statistical data and generating forecasting solutions to lead the planning and inventory optimisation processes for the TAP region ensuring inventory targets are achieved. This role is an individual contributor who will act as the liaison between the local and regional management teams for all aspects of the demand and supply management process. In addition to the role requires close cross-collaboration with Global & Regional S&OP, Finance, RAQA and other key stakeholders. This role will also partner with the Regional Planning Director, TAP to drive efficiencies for TAP by improving processes to resolve demand and supply issues while ensuring financial and customer requirements can be achieved.
Strong understanding of S&OP & IBP methodology, forecasting, demand & supply planning process and statistical forecasting approaches Results and solution oriented Good business partnering approach and stakeholder management Ability to analyze datasets, identify insights and actions needed Strong business and finance acumen Solid knowledge and experience in SAP S4 and IBP Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in MS office and other data analysis tools Demonstrates ability to manage change and remain focused under pressure Ability to be flexible and drive for results, even when all the requirements have not been defined Able to work independently and apply calculated risk in decision making.
A degree in Business, logistic management, or equivalent working experience within supply chain planning/ order management (min. eight years) Experience in leading/ supporting Regional S&OP / IBP cadences Experience in SAP S4 and SAP IBP Proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of the financial and operational impacts Advanced knowledge in MS Office particularly Microsoft Excel is essential. CSCP/ IBF/ Oliver Wright trained or certification preferred.
