Job summary

Pepperl+Fuchs is seeking a Regional RFQ Specialist to support sales across Asia from Singapore. You will translate customer requirements into technically compliant and competitive proposals, interfacing with sales, engineering, and production to win opportunities.

The role requires a strong technical background in electrical/electro-mechanical systems, plus experience in pre-sales or design for hazardous area equipment. Fluency in English and a detail-oriented approach are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or B.Tech in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years in pre-sales support, electrical panel design, estimation or related role.
Experience in second-level technical sales support or pre-sales engineering is preferred.
Knowledge of hazardous area equipment incl. Ex-d/Ex-e and IECEx/ATEX is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Serve as second-level technical support for regional sales across Asia, guiding RFQs and technical queries.
Prepare accurate cost estimates, technical proposals, and RFQ submissions for explosion-protected solutions and LV panels.
Analyze customer specifications, SLDs, wiring schematics, and drawings to define requirements.
Develop tailored electrical solutions for hazardous environments using appropriate components and configurations.
Prepare GA drawings and detailed BOMs for LV panel solutions and junction boxes.
Support pricing strategies and price-finding activities with technical input.
Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, R&D, Product Management and Production to ensure compliant solutions.
Engage with customers to clarify requirements and present engineered solutions within timelines.
