YOUR ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Regional Project Manager, APAC to join our Project Logistics team, based in Singapore.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, APAC & IMEA – Project Logistics, you will play a key role in coordinating the planning and execution of complex, large-scale logistics projects across Asia Pacific, supporting operational excellence, commercial performance and consistent service delivery across the region.

Working closely with country operations and our Engineering, Chartering and Project Management teams, you will bring together technical expertise, operational planning and commercial understanding to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.

This is a regional specialist role requiring strong stakeholder management, sound commercial judgement and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across countries within a matrix organisation.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
  • Coordinate and oversee the planning and execution of complex Project Logistics activities across APAC, ensuring delivery against agreed milestones, budgets and customer requirements.
  • Work closely with regional and country Project Management, Engineering and Chartering teams to develop practical, technically sound and commercially viable logistics solutions.
  • Support the planning and coordination of specialist cargo movements, including heavy-lift, out-of-gauge (OOG), breakbulk and multimodal transport operations.
  • Coordinate vessel chartering requirements with specialist teams, ensuring operational suitability, cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with Sales, Business Development and Commercial teams to support new business opportunities through technical input, project feasibility assessments and execution planning.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders, proactively managing operational challenges, escalations and service delivery expectations.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, costs, margins and forecasts, identifying commercial risks and opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Coordinate project resources and cross-functional teams across multiple countries, ensuring effective communication, operational readiness and timely resolution of delivery issues.
  • Identify and manage operational, financial, safety and compliance risks, implementing appropriate mitigation and contingency measures.
  • Drive continuous improvement, operational standardisation and best practices to strengthen project execution and performance across the region.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You are an experienced Project Logistics professional with a strong track record of delivering complex, large-scale logistics projects, ideally within the energy, mining, oil and gas, infrastructure or industrial sectors. You combine technical project cargo expertise with commercial acumen and the ability to work effectively across multiple countries, cultures and operational environments.

  • Extensive experience managing complex Project Logistics operations, including end-to-end project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, risk management and execution across multimodal supply chains.
  • Strong technical knowledge of heavy-lift, out-of-gauge (OOG), breakbulk and specialised cargo movements, including transport feasibility, route planning, engineering considerations and vessel chartering requirements.
  • Demonstrated commercial and financial capability, including project costing, budgeting, forecasting, margin management and the evaluation of operational and commercial risks.
  • Sound understanding of international shipping, customs and trade requirements, together with applicable safety, quality and regulatory standards across complex logistics environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and analytical skills, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across a regional matrix structure, supported by proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project management tools.

Previous experience working across multiple APAC markets, together with exposure to specialist chartering agreements, transport engineering documentation, CargoWise or business intelligence tools, will be highly regarded.

The role requires flexibility to work across regional and global time zones, with travel throughout APAC and occasional international travel as business needs require.
