Job summary

SEARCHASIA CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Process Safety professional in Singapore to lead PHA and LOPA, manage MOC and PSSR, and drive compliance across regulatory requirements and safety standards.

The role focuses on identifying hazards, implementing safeguards, and coordinating with authorities and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of process safety experience, with regional exposure considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enhance PSM programmes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies and industry safety standards.
• Lead Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) and other risk assessments to identify hazards and establish appropriate safeguards.
• Oversee Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Start-up Safety Review (PSSR) processes, ensuring safety risks are addressed during plant modifications and new projects.
• Facilitate compliance audits, regulatory inspections and insurance surveys while maintaining relationships with relevant authorities and external stakeholders.
• Investigate process safety incidents and near misses, recommend corrective actions and monitor the closure of safety findings and improvement initiatives.
• Conduct safety training, manage process safety documentation and perform ATEX hazardous area classification assessments to strengthen workplace safety practices.
