Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a global healthcare technology client in Singapore. The role leads payroll forecasting, budgeting and workforce planning across SEA markets, partnering with HR and business stakeholders to deliver insight-driven decisions.

You will analyze payroll costs, headcount trends and variances, support operating expense forecasting, and contribute to strategic finance initiatives in a fast-paced multinational environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of payroll cost analysis, workforce planning, headcount reporting, or employee-related financial data in a multinational environment.
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills to manage large and complex datasets.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management across finance, HR, and business functions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead payroll forecasting, budgeting, and workforce planning activities across SEA markets.
  • Maintain and enhance payroll reporting models to improve accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making.
  • Partner closely with HR and business stakeholders to track employee movements and workforce costs.
  • Analyse payroll and headcount variances, providing meaningful commentary and recommendations.
  • Support operating expense forecasting by integrating workforce-related costs into financial planning processes.
  • Assist in business initiatives, including organisational changes, workforce expansion, and acquisition-related assessments.
  • Deliver management insights on payroll trends, productivity, and profitability to support commercial decisions.

Job Description

The Successful Applicant
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline

  • Strong financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manage large and complex datasets
  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner across finance, HR, and business functions
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
