Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced logistics coordinator to support regional freight forwarding operations. You will act as a key liaison between customers, internal operations teams, and external service providers to ensure timely delivery.

You will coordinate air and ocean freight, respond to inquiries, monitor requests, and help implement SOPs and system enhancements with IT. The role includes KPI reporting and cross-country coordination, with occasional overseas travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational activities involving air freight or ocean freight, with additional support for trucking and related logistics services where required.
• Respond to customer enquiries, monitor outstanding requests, and coordinate with relevant teams to facilitate timely resolution.
• Manage communications and stakeholder expectations to support service delivery and meet agreed operational deadlines.
• Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly customer KPI reporting, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
• Monitor operational performance and work with the Operations Manager to identify service gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and update SOPs, operational guidelines, and process flowcharts to support consistent service delivery across regional locations.
• Coordinate process changes and communicate new customer requirements to relevant operational teams.
• Organize and conduct internal operational training or briefings to support implementation of updated procedures and customer requirements.
• Work with IT teams to coordinate system enhancement requests, integration requirements, testing, and operational issue resolution.
• Support UAT and other testing activities for system upgrades or new project implementations.
• Assist with quotations and other operational documentation when required.
• Support regional projects, operational reviews, and cross-country process alignment initiatives.
• Maintain constructive customer relationships through responsive communication, accurate follow-up, and effective coordination.
• Undertake overseas travel when necessary for customer meetings, regional coordination, or project support.
