Job summary

Base Camp is seeking an IT Procurement Manager to lead the regional procurement strategy for a network of partner banks in Southeast Asia, focusing on software licensing, hardware, and managed services. The role is hands-on and end-to-end, requiring stakeholder engagement and strong negotiation skills.

You will drive alignment with group strategy, aggregate demand, and extend group-wide agreements to unlock significant savings while travelling across Southeast Asia as needed.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in procurement with regional or international exposure.
• Deep IT procurement expertise across software licensing, hardware and managed services.
• Proven track record running deals end to end – engagement, sourcing, negotiation and contracting.
• Experience in banking or financial services is preferred; large enterprise IT procurement exposure welcome.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to turn cost and risk analysis into clear recommendations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and executive presentation skills.
• Cultural awareness and ability to build consensus across countries and reporting lines.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Southeast Asia.
• A degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Technology or related field; CIPS or a master’s degree is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define regional IT procurement strategy for partner bank network.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing, tendering, negotiation, contracting and supplier management.
• Aggregate demand across banks to leverage scale and extend group-wide commercial agreements.
• Collaborate with Head Office, Global and Regional Procurement, IT and control functions.
