Nomura Holdings, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Governance & Regional Business Management Officer at Executive Director level to lead the day-to-day governance and regional business-management activities.

You will coordinate senior committee secretariats, maintain governance frameworks, and ensure timely decision-making across businesses and functions. The role requires 15+ years in financial services with governance exposure, strong leadership, and ability to influence without direct authority.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in investment banking or financial services with governance and regional management experience.
• Proven leadership of senior committee secretariats, including agenda planning, executive papers, minute writing and action tracking.
• Track record delivering cross-functional initiatives in a complex regional or matrix organisation with strong project discipline.
• Experience dealing with financial products and their end-to-end lifecycle including trade execution, booking, risk management, operations, settlement and controls is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical judgement and executive communication skills; ability to synthesize complex issues and engage credibly with senior stakeholders, auditors and regulators.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day governance and regional business-management activities.
• Head the day-to-day secretariat for NEMC and NOC, coordinating with committee chairs and maintaining minutes, action logs and deadlines.
• Develop and continuously evolve regional governance frameworks, policies, committee structure and operating standards.
• Coordinate governance reporting to senior executives, board committees and regulators and oversee escalation protocols.
• Deliver cross-functional initiatives with clear milestones, ownership, risks and benefits.
