Job summary

TOYOTA TSUSHO ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a senior leader to drive regional sales and planning for Toyota and Lexus.

You will shape market strategies, coordinate with distributors, and work closely with the brand principal on demand, supply, pricing and campaigns. The role requires extensive cross-border leadership across ASEAN and beyond, TPS/JIT experience, bilingual English and Japanese, and frequent travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Automotive Management, Economics.
• 12+ years progressive work experience in Automotive Trading industry.
• Experience leading cross-border teams across ASEAN, Oceania, the Middle East or similar markets.
• 5+ years in dealer network management, distributor operations, or subsidiary management in emerging markets.
• 3+ years TPS/JIT experience for field operation.
• 5–10 years experience handling work requiring scrutiny to comply UN/US sanction rules.
• Demonstrated 8+ years leadership across multiple locations.
• Knowledge of Dealer Management System for sales and finance of subsidiaries.
• Excellent strategic planning, analytical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making; customer-focused.
• Willingness to travel frequently overseas.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional sales and marketing of Toyota & Lexus products.
• Establish and implement plans to drive distributors toward market leadership.
• Collaborate with brand principal on demand and supply management, pricing, promotions, PR.
• Provide leadership by creating mid-term and annual plans.
• Implement strategic initiatives to achieve company objectives.
• Evaluate and report progress on plans to stakeholders.
• Manage expenses and review monthly financial reports.
• Develop Toyota & Lexus business and new car value chain in Mekong region.
• Make financially responsible business decisions per company policy.
• Oversee HR planning, recruitment, staff development and training; lead 10+ staff.
• Oversee department budgets and fiscal goals; guide subsidiaries on strategy and compliance.
• Report subsidiary performance to top management and HQ in Japan.
