The role drives budgeting, forecasting, and performance management, while delivering forward-looking analyses and reliable financial narratives to sustain performance. You will influence plans, optimize capital allocation, and uphold governance across regions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration; MBA/CPA/ACCA/CA is a plus.
  • 7–12+ years in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Controlling, or Commercial Finance.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leadership on strategic and operational decisions.
  • Lead monthly performance reviews and provide insights into key business drivers.
  • Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning with robust financial modelling.
  • Perform in-depth P&L analysis, variance analysis, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Support month/year end closing and maintain governance standards.

Job description

The Regional Finance Controller serves as a trusted advisor and co-pilot to business leaders, driving profitable growth through financial insights, performance steering, and strategic decision support. The role goes beyond traditional reporting and budgeting by proactively influencing business decisions, identifying value creation opportunities, and ensuring sustainable financial performance.

What You’ll Do
Strategic Business Partnering
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leadership teams on strategic and operational decisions.
  • Challenge and influence business plans to optimize growth, profitability, and capital allocation.
  • Translate business strategies into financial outcomes and actionable recommendations.
  • Drive value creation initiatives and support long-term strategic planning.
Performance Management & Business Steering
  • Lead monthly performance reviews and provide insights into key business drivers.
  • Analyze P&L performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop financial narratives that enable management teams to make informed decisions.
  • Monitor key financial and operational KPIs to ensure achievement of business objectives.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
  • Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning processes.
  • Provide robust financial modelling and scenario analysis to support decision-making.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to develop realistic yet ambitious financial targets.
  • Ensure alignment between strategic initiatives and financial plans.
Financial Analysis & Insights
  • Perform in-depth P&L analysis, variance analysis, and root-cause investigations.
  • Evaluate profitability across products, customers, channels, and business segments.
  • Conduct investment evaluations, business cases, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Deliver forward-looking insights and predictive analysis to support business growth.
Governance & Financial Control
  • Support month/year end closing & review bookkeeping for accuracy
  • Ensure financial discipline and adherence to company policies and governance standards.
  • Drive accountability for financial commitments and resource utilization.
  • Support risk identification and mitigation through proactive financial monitoring.
Continuous Improvement
  • Enhance financial processes, reporting tools, and performance dashboards.
  • Leverage data analytics and digital tools to improve decision support capabilities.
  • Champion best practices in business partnering and financial planning.
What You’ll Bring
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • MBA, CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
Experience
  • 7–12+ years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Controlling, or Commercial Finance.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and strategic planning.
  • Strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders and business leaders.
Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of P&L management and financial performance steering.
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and scenario planning.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SAP, and financial planning tools.
