Job summary

Hapag Lloyd is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Regional Controlling to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the region. The role focuses on delivering management reports, identifying deviations, and partnering with Operations and departments to improve financial performance.

The position emphasizes data analytics, KPI development, and cross-functional collaboration to support strategic decisions and cost-saving initiatives within the regional scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting/business administration/data science.
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in financial analysis and planning and/or data analytics.
• Ability to act as a business partner to all departments in the Region.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting and forecasting: Develop and manage financial budgets and forecasts to support the organization's financial planning and decision making including: Engage with Operations to translate, capture, challenge assumptions.
• Oversee month-end closing of accounts including management reporting of performance and deviations to plans including: calculate accruals, monitor accrual balances, analyze deviations.
• Performance tracking: Develop KPIs and cost saving measures; analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
• Data Science: Support BI analytics and financial modeling; implement data-driven insights to drive business decisions.
