Job summary

Rim Polymers Industries Pte Ltd, part of the CEH Group, is seeking an Electrical/Mechatronic Engineer to install, commission, service and troubleshoot PU foam dispensing machines and related systems at customer sites across the Asia-Pacific region.

Requirements include a Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering, ability to read schematics, and good communication skills. PLC experience is a plus; frequent overseas travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Ability to read electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.
• Knowledge of PLC programming is an added advantage.
• Good time management and communication skills.
• Customer relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, servicing and troubleshooting of PU (Polyurethane) foam dispensing machines including mold carrier, panel press and other conveyor system.
• Liaise and work closely with customers and suppliers to ensure best solutions are identified and problems are solved with minimum supervision.
• Liaise with office for information and status of the ongoing projects.
• Sourcing for new suppliers/ contractors required for ongoing projects.
• Coordinate and ensure smooth start up, work closely with the customer and to get acceptance signature.
• Provide feedback to engineering and service department to reduce parts replacement, shorten the installation time and meeting customer satisfaction.
• Conduct user training for end-customers.

Key Responsibilities:
