SEARCH INDEX PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced APAC Solutions Engineering leader to drive the design and implementation of AV systems across the Asia Pacific region.

In this role, you will lead regional technical teams, coordinate with consultants, system integrators and sales, and provide hands-on support for professional audio design, acoustic modelling, and product applications. Travel across APAC and China is negotiable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in audio-visual industry with manufacturer or System Integrator.
• Strong BOM capability (EASE, AutoCAD, SketchUp).
• Experience working with consultants, integrators, and channel partners.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to travel for business across APAC and China (frequency negotiable).

Responsabilités

• Lead APAC Solutions Engineering function, including team development, workload planning and resource allocation.
• Manage and coach regional technical teams, including teams in China and India.
• Provide hands-on support for professional audio system design, acoustic modelling and product applications.
• Strong experience with EASE or similar acoustic simulation tools.
• Support complex and large-scale projects across Asia Pacific, including system design, commissioning and optimisation.
• Prepare and review system specifications, BOMs and technical recommendations.
• Work closely with consultants, system integrators, distributors, end users and sales teams.
• Act as the regional escalation point for complex technical and application issues.
• Align engineering support with regional sales priorities and business growth opportunities.
• Maintain consistent technical standards, service quality and engineering practices across markets.
• Coordinate with global Product Management, Engineering and Technical Support teams.
• Willing to travel across Asia Pacific for customer support, training, team development and strategic projects.

Key Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Acoustical, Audio-Visual Technology, or related field.




• Minimum 5 years’ experience in audio-visual industry with manufacturer or System Integrator in designing and implementing AV systems




• Strong system design and BOM capability (EASE, AutoCAD, SketchUp).




• Experience working with consultants, integrators, and channel partners.




• Strong communication skills and the ability to travel for business across APAC and China (frequency negotiable)




• Industry certifications (AVIXA, Dante, EASE, CCNA) preferred.
