Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to be the regional technical lead for Asia Pacific, guiding system design, acoustic modeling, and customer consultation across major projects in the region.

You will design and specify audio and AV systems, support consultants and integrators through project lifecycles, and lead regional engineers while collaborating with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Training teams. Travel across APAC is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional audio/AV engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• Experience with consultants, integrators, distributors, and end users.

About the role

The Senior Solutions Engineer is the regional technical lead for Asia Pacific, responsible for system design, acoustic modeling, customer consultation, and technical leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Design and specify professional audio and AV systems, including system recommendations, BOMs, and acoustic simulations.
• Provide technical support to consultants, system integrators, distributors, and end users throughout project design, commissioning, and optimization.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, training, and proof-of-concept activities.
• Support sales teams on strategic projects and customer opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate regional Solutions Engineers, ensuring consistent engineering practices and customer support.
• Provide product, software, and system design training and support certification programs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Training, and Technical Support teams.
• Share market feedback and contribute to technical documentation, application guides, and new product launches.
• Travel internationally across Asia Pacific as required.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Acoustics, Audio Technology, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional audio/AV engineering experience.
• Strong experience designing complex audio systems and knowledge of acoustics, loudspeakers, DSP, networking, and audio transport technologies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
• Experience working with consultants, integrators, distributors, and end users.
• Experience with EASE, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools is preferred.
• Prior team leadership or mentoring experience is preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications and experience across commercial, hospitality, transportation, education, worship, or stadium projects are advantageous.
