Job summary

SEARCH INDEX PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned AV/Pro Audio lead to drive end-to-end system design, deployment, and optimization across APAC and China. You will collaborate with sales, distributors and partners to deliver robust technical solutions and successful implementations.

The role demands strong communication and travel across the APAC region, with a solid background in acoustics or audio-visual technology. This is a permanent position based in Singapore with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in acoustical, audio-visual technology or related field.
• 8 years of experience in Pro Audio / AV industry.
• Experience with system design and BOM; proficiency in EASE, AutoCAD, SketchUp.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales and technical support to sales and business development teams.
• Lead end-to-end AV / Pro audio system design, deployment, and optimization across APAC & China.
• Support product launches, NPIs, and technical demonstrations.
• Deliver technical training and certification for distributors and system integrators.
• Support partners on technical performance and solution development.
• Assist in pipeline and opportunity development.

Strong communication skills and the ability to travel for business across APAC and China (frequency negotiable) is preferred.

Key Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Acoustical, Audio-Visual Technology, or related field.
• 8 years' experience in Pro Audio / AV industry.
• Strong system design and BOM capability (EASE, AutoCAD, SketchUp).
• Experience working with consultants, integrators, and channel partners.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to travel for business across APAC and China (frequency negotiable)
• Industry certifications (AVIXA, Dante, EASE, CCNA) preferred.
