Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a senior Commercial Leader to drive the Cataract and Refractive segments across Malaysia and Singapore. You will define long-range strategies, oversee distributor networks, and ensure annual plans and financial metrics are achieved.

You will lead a high-performance team, comply with regulatory standards, and collaborate with regional stakeholders to expand market presence. Your role emphasizes talent development, market intelligence, and ethical marketing practices

Qualifications

Degree in Science, Bio-Science, Health-Science or Pharmacy; MBA preferred.
At least 10 years’ working experience in healthcare or ophthalmology industry.
At least 5 years in leadership role managing a team.
Experience in multiple SEA markets, especially Singapore and Malaysia.
Experience with multiple distributors and logistic partners.
Strong understanding of regulatory, QA and legal/policies/environment relating to healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
Proven track record of consignment management; preferably with implantable medical devices experience.

Responsibilities

Leads the commercial operations of Cataract and Refractive businesses in Malaysia and Singapore.
Defines the organization’s long-range strategic plan and ensures annual operating plans are achieved.
Builds and maintains relationships with key decision-makers in local health care systems, government agencies and regulatory bodies.
Leads and coaches the commercial team to meet compliance requirements and hit sales targets.
Manages distributor relationships and ensures operational KPIs are met.
