Qualifications

4+ years of commercial, trade, or pricing experience within shipping/ocean freight.
Strong numerical and data-driven decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Formulate, review, and implement freight rate structures and surcharges for specialized cargo.
Act as central point of contact for regional offices and agents for volume forecasts and space allocation.
Analyze vessel utilization data to adjust pricing strategies and maximize per-voyage profitability.
Evaluate and streamline day-to-day booking requests from sales teams with rapid turnaround and competitive rates.
Monitor competitor movements and market shifts, translating data into strategic recommendations for leadership.
Support local agencies in managing key accounts and tailoring service offerings to client needs.
Participate in trade feasibility studies and contribute to long-term expansion plans.
