Job summary

JobAlly is conducting a confidential search for an accomplished CEO / Managing Director to lead an established regional business through its next growth phase. This leadership mandate targets an entrepreneurial executive with deep experience in major international trading and Asian markets.

Reporting to shareholders, the CEO/MD will own the strategic direction, P&L and commercial growth of the business, with a mandate to identify new growth platforms and strengthen governance for the next stage

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience within a major international trading house or equivalent.
• Strong exposure to commodities, mining, metals, energy, or related sectors.
• Demonstrated regional leadership across Asia, including North and Southeast Asia.
• Proven track record of building businesses, developing new markets and partnerships.
• Experience engaging with boards, shareholders and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall strategy, P&L and commercial direction of the business.
• Drive sustainable growth across key Asian markets and identify opportunities and partnerships.
• Evaluate acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic investments.
• Strengthen leadership depth, governance and organisational capabilities.
• Drive transformation, financial discipline and performance across the region.
• Develop and maintain high-level relationships with customers, trading partners and financial institutions.
• Collaborate with shareholders on strategic priorities and long-term value creation.
