Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking a regional technical lead to join an overseas backend team in Singapore. You will be the first responder and incident commander for regional production issues, lead a small local backend/SRE team, and drive the design and development of App backend modules across user, community, commerce, campaigns, and messaging.

You will own troubleshooting, incident response, and operations while shaping technical design and reviews.

Qualifications

8+ years of Java backend development with 2+ years as tech lead.
Expert in Java and Spring Boot; familiar with microservice stacks.
Strong database skills: MySQL; proficient with Redis and messaging systems.
Hands-on incident response and DevOps experience.

Responsibilities

Own regional production issues: incident commander for the region; drive fixes and postmortems.
Lead regional backend/SRE team; oversee design, API development, and code reviews.
Design, implement, and maintain App backend modules (user, community, commerce, campaigns, messaging).
Establish regional monitoring, runbooks, and recovery plans; craft region-specific tooling.
