Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer in Singapore to drive design, development, and optimization of backend systems. You will own production-ready code, mentor juniors, and collaborate across product, frontend, and DevOps teams. A minimum of 5 years in backend engineering and strong ownership are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of backend engineering experience, delivering production-level systems.
• Proficient in Java or Go, with experience in Spring Boot, WebFlux, Kafka, Redis, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• System Design: capable of modular, scalable solutions with performance, security, observability.
• Problem Solving: identify edge cases, manage risk, and improve system quality.
• Process Mindset: spot inefficiencies and propose improvements in both tech and workflow.
• Team Collaboration: strong communication skills and proactive teamwork and feedback.
