Job summary

Scrubbed is seeking an Accounting Manager (Assistant Controller) to lead regional accounting for Singapore and Indonesia. This hybrid role will manage day-to-day accounting operations, oversee month-end closes, and ensure strict IFRS/PSAK compliance while coordinating with local regulators and tax authorities.

You will partner with the Controller and regional teams to drive efficient processes, enhance internal controls, and support growth initiatives across borders.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in senior accounting/controllership.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and a licensed CA/CPA (ISCA, IAPI, or equivalent).
• Extensive experience with IFRS 15, equity expensing, and multi-currency consolidations; familiarity with IAS 41 (Biological assets) or related fields is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with regional transactional teams, SLAs, and monitoring tools.
• Proven ability to operate in SE Asia markets including Singapore and Indonesia, with regional tax familiarity.
• Strong collaboration with business leaders to articulate financial priorities and influence decisions.
• ERP/finance systems experience and ERP implementation familiarity are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Deputy Leadership: help design, implement, and enhance accounting policies across regional entities.
• Oversee multi-entity close (Singapore and Indonesia), including manual multi-currency consolidations and accurate reporting.
• Maintain IFRS/ PSAK compliance and align policies with IFRS leading practices.
• Coordinate with Corporate Secretary and local teams on statutory requirements (ACRA/IRAS in Singapore; DJP/OJK in Indonesia).
• Lead intercompany accounting and transfer pricing reconciliation with external consultants.
• Track expenses across regions and projects, ensuring accurate intercompany allocations and TP documentation.
• Stay updated on local tax regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS).
• Drive internal controls and coordinate with external auditors; support audit processes.
