Job summary

Hudson Manpower in Singapore seeks an experienced Refractory and Fireproofing Supervisor to lead site teams on oil & gas and petrochemical projects compliant with ARAMCO/SABIC standards. You will supervise installation, lining, gunning, casting, anchoring, and curing, ensuring quality and safety on all activities.

The role requires a Diploma/Technical Certificate in Mechanical or Industrial discipline and 8–10 years of hands-on experience, including ARAMCO projects and SABIC shutdowns.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Technical Certificate in Mechanical or Industrial discipline.
• 8–10 years of hands-on refractory and fireproofing experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects.
• Hands-on experience in ARAMCO projects and SABIC shutdowns is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of refractory installation techniques (casting, gunning, brick lining, fiber modules, anchors, coating).
• Experience in fireproofing applications for structural steel, vessels, and piping.
• Familiarity with ARAMCO/SABIC QA/QC procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily refractory and fireproofing activities at site for furnaces, boilers, heaters, and reactors.
• Ensure installation, lining, gunning, casting, anchoring, and curing are carried out as per drawings and specifications.
• Lead, guide, and assign tasks to refractory masons, helpers, and subcontractors.
• Conduct inspections of materials, anchoring systems, and workmanship for compliance with ARAMCO/SABIC standards.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, and client representatives for approvals and inspections.
• Enforce PTW procedures, especially during shutdowns and turnarounds.
• Maintain daily reports, progress updates, and manpower allocation records.
• Enforce safety policies and participate in toolbox talks.
• Troubleshoot site challenges to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily refractory and fireproofing activities at site for furnaces, boilers, heaters, and reactors.

• Ensure installation, lining, gunning, casting, anchoring, and curing are carried out as per drawings and specifications.

• Lead, guide, and assign tasks to refractory masons, helpers, and subcontractors.
