You will translate market fundamentals into practical insights for business and strategic decisions, working with internal stakeholders and fellow analysts. The role emphasizes collaboration and independent work with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in oil refining or energy market analysis.
• Strong understanding of global fuel-product markets.
• Experience with Linear Programming for forecasting is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Track global refinery capacity developments and maintain a global database.
• Forecast refinery margins and product yields considering constraints.
• Monitor crude and refined-products markets for balances and demand.
• Prepare market outlooks, reports, and presentations on refining trends.
• Analyze biofuels and energy transition impacts on refining markets.
