Job summary

Neste Tuas refinery in Singapore is seeking a Technician to join the Refinery Operations Shift Team. You will focus on ensuring smooth daily operations, plant maintenance and troubleshooting to meet production targets, working 12-hour shifts in a 2-2-3 pattern.

You will collaborate with Shift Supervisors, monitor process safety, participate in LOTO, collect samples and support emergency response, with training provided for minimal experience.

Qualifications

• NITEC in Chemical Process Technology or Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Candidates with minimal work experience are welcome to apply; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Interpersonal skills and a safety-oriented mindset are important; teamwork is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and safe operations in the plant.
• Work closely with Senior Technicians to monitor process safety and report non-conformities.
• Field patrols to monitor emissions and implement preventive actions.
• Collect process samples according to routine schedule.
• Execute LOTO to equipment for maintenance activities.
• Able to work in confined spaces if required.
• Participate in PTW processes such as Cold Work and Hot Work permits.
• Monitor equipment and facilities to maintain high availability.
• Be a member of the Emergency Response Team.
• Maintain good housekeeping of operating areas.
