Job summary

Singapore Refining Company Private Limited is seeking Process Technicians to operate and maintain process units safely at Jurong Island refinery. You will ensure safe operation, reliable asset upkeep and compliance with safeguarding systems within a demanding plant environment.

Responsibilities include assisting in plant shutdowns and start-ups, performing testing, and supporting safe work activities in hot and noisy conditions. Training will be provided for fresh graduates.

Qualifications

• Diploma or NITEC in Engineering/Science with relevant subjects.
• GCE O’ level with credits in English, Mathematics and Science.
• Fresh ITE/Polytechnic graduates are welcome as training will be provided.

Job description

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Located on Jurong Island, the petrochemical hub of Singapore, SRC operates a refinery that is capable of processing 290,000 barrels of crude oil per day to produce fuel products and chemical feedstocks that are supplied to domestic markets and overseas export markets under the brand labels of its shareholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

(Annual Gross Salary: S$46,000 to S$50,000)

Process Technicians:

• Ensure safe and optimal operation of process units.
• Ensure workplace safety by proper asset upkeep, supporting function testing on safeguarding system and proper control on work activities in the plant.
• Participate in plant shutdown & start-up and process unit troubleshooting work activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or NITEC in any Engineering/Science discipline OR
• At least GCE 'O' level with equivalent with credits in English, Mathematics, Science (Physics or Chemistry).
• Fresh ITE / Polytechnic engineering graduates are welcome to apply as training will be provided.

OTHER INFORMATION

• Able to work shift hours in hot & noisy environment which will involve work-at-height.
