Job summary

A leading human resources company in Singapore is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to install, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, knowledge of refrigeration systems, and strong problem-solving abilities. Certification and possession of a Class 3 License are advantageous. This position emphasizes excellent customer service and adherence to safety regulations.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems, including refrigerators, and some others prism products.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, including mechanical, electrical, and refrigerantrelated problems.
• Repair or replace faulty components, such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, and fans.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Conduct system tests to verify performance, temperature control, and refrigerant levels.
• Calibrate temperature controls,thermostats, and pressure switches as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Adhere to relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards for handling refrigerants and electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Stay updated with advancements in refrigeration technology, industry trends, and best practices.
• Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects and assignments.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior/or managery.

Requirements

• Min O-Level or equivalent. Relevant certifications or vocational training is a plus.
• Min 2 years’ experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
