Job summary

Singapore Epson Industrial Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Reel-to-Reel Technician to support plating production operations. You will perform line start-up, monitor processes, and ensure product quality and safety in a chemical manufacturing environment.

You must be comfortable with rotating 12-hour shifts (6-day cycle), handling chemicals, and carrying out basic plating bath monitoring. Training and career development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• NITEC, Higher NITEC or equivalent qualification.
• Secondary School education with relevant work experience acceptable.
• Experience in manufacturing, plating, chemical processing, or production operations preferred.
• Able to perform line start-up activities independently.
• Comfortable handling chemicals in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work rotating 12-hour shifts (6-day cycle).
• Able to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform line start-up, shutdown, roll changes, and product changeovers.
• Monitor production processes and ensure stable operating conditions.
• Conduct visual inspections and plating thickness measurements.
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Carry out chemical replenishment and basic plating bath monitoring.
• Follow safety, environmental and operating procedures at all times.
• Maintain good housekeeping and workplace safety standards.
