FU XIANG CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Structural Drafter / Rebar Scheduler to join its RC subcontracting team.

You will draft and detail using AutoCAD, read drawings, and prepare accurate Bar Bending Schedules in Excel to support site construction and minimize waste. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of relevant experience, are proficient in AutoCAD and Excel, and can read structural drawings and rebar codes with precision.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as Structural Drafter/Detailer/Rebar Scheduler.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Able to read structural drawings and rebar codes.
• Detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Drafting & Detailing: Use AutoCAD to check structural layouts, update shop drawings, and verify rebar details.
• Bar Bending Schedules (BBS): Read structural drawings and prepare clear BBS in Excel showing rebar quantities, shapes, sizes, and cutting lengths.
• Waste Optimization: Calculate cutting lengths to minimize rebar steel scrap and waste on site.
• Coordination: Work with site engineers, main contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely rebar orders and delivery.
• Record Keeping: Track drawing revisions, approved BBS versions, and rebar tonnage delivered.
