Responsibilities
- Manage daily automated trading systems in a variety of market conditions
- Work closely with trading teams, evaluate and provide feedback on observed behaviors and patterns of strategies and market conditions
- Monitor live trading for operational issues to ensure a best-of-breed monitoring environment and quickly respond to unusual behaviors or market conditions that may affect successful execution of trading strategies
- Serve as an advisor across different departments, providing new and innovative solutions for the complex problems we face
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve trading operation issues and processes for day to day trading activities
- Communicate with support staff, brokers and exchanges to resolve day to day trading issues
- Carefully document procedures and log production issues as they occur
- Other duties as assigned or needed
