Job summary

Vistra is seeking an Assistant Manager, Fund Accounting (Real Estate) in Singapore. This full-time role focuses on managing fund accounting operations, client service, and cross-team collaboration to deliver accurate reporting and compliant disclosures.

The ideal candidate has 5–6 years in accounting/auditing with real estate fund experience, strong knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP, and proficiency in Yardi. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of accounting/auditing experience, with at least 3 years in Real Estate Fund industry.
• Sound knowledge of Singapore FRS/IFRS and US GAAP
• Familiarity with Yardi Investment Management and process improvement will be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Be the primary client service contact for assigned portfolio. Monitor and respond promptly to client requests. Strengthen client relationships.
• Lead discussion with clients on operational matters and critical issues that need to be addressed
• Reviewing financial statements, management accounts and accounting packages
• Proficient in drafting wordings for disclosure wordings for IFRS/US GAAP accounting conventions and INREV reporting
• Reviewing Capital Account Statements and Net Asset Values
• Reading/understanding Fund documents like Subscription documents, partnership agreements, and shareholder agreements for existing/new fund and explaining the key terms to team members
• Reviewing capital call and distribution notices
• Preparing/Reviewing waterfall and equalization workings
• Coordinating and dealing with Fund investors on meeting investor’s specific reporting requirements
• Reviewing investor requests and any ad hoc requests from client.
• Working closely with other teams to ensure overall operations are running smoothly.
• Providing formal/informal training to staff on both accounting and real estate/industry aspects
• Undertake management and general administration and other special projects as assigned by the Management.
