Job summary

DJ Engineering & Construction PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a technically competent Drafter with reinforced concrete drafting experience to support engineering and construction projects.

You will interpret technical information and produce clear, coordinated RC drawings, collaborating with engineers and BIM teams to ensure revisions and deadlines are met. Required diploma or certificate in civil/structural drafting and AutoCAD proficiency.

Qualifications

• RC drafting experience is mandatory.
• Diploma or certificate in civil/structural drafting preferred.
• Proficient in reading structural drawings and detailing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or relevant drafting software.
• Singapore project experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update reinforced concrete drawings, layouts, sections, details and related drafting deliverables.
• Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, specifications and mark-ups and translate them into accurate CAD drawings.
• Develop detailed RC drawings for construction and coordination purposes.
• Revise drawings promptly based on design changes, comments and project requirements.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural and MEP information where required.
• Check dimensions, levels, annotations, drawing references and detailing for accuracy before submission.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a technicallycompetent Drafter with reinforced concrete (RC) drafting experience to supportengineering and construction projects in Singapore. RC drafting experience ismandatory. The successful candidate should be able to interpret technicalinformation accurately and produce clear, coordinated drawings in line withproject requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare andupdate reinforced concrete drawings, layouts, sections, details and relateddrafting deliverables.
• Interpretengineering drawings, sketches, specifications and mark‑ups and translate theminto accurate CAD drawings.
• Developdetailed RC drawings for construction and coordination purposes.
• Revisedrawings promptly based on design changes, comments and project requirements.
• Coordinatedrawings with relevant architectural, structural and MEP information whererequired.
• Checkdimensions, levels, annotations, drawing references and detailing for accuracybefore submission.
• Maintainproper drawing revisions, file naming and document control.
• Work closelywith engineers, BIM/modeling teams and project personnel to resolve draftingissues.
• Supportpreparation of as‑built or revised drawings when required by the project.
• Meet projectdeadlines and maintain consistent drafting quality.

REQUIREMENTS

• RC draftingexperience is mandatory.
• RelevantDiploma, Certificate or technical qualification in Civil Engineering,Structural Engineering, Drafting or a related field is preferred.
• Goodknowledge of reinforced concrete construction drawings and detailing.
• Proficiencyin AutoCAD or relevant drafting software.
• Ability toread and understand structural and construction drawings.
• Goodattention to detail, accuracy and drawing discipline.
• Ability towork independently as well as coordinate with engineers and project teams.
• Singaporeproject experience will be an advantage.
