Job summary

DJ BUILDERS & CONTRACTORS PTE LTD seeks a technically competent RC Drafter to support engineering and construction projects in Singapore. You will interpret technical information accurately and produce clear RC drawings in line with project requirements.

The candidate should have a Diploma/Certificate in Civil/Structural Drafting or related field, be proficient in AutoCAD, and able to read structural drawings.

Qualifications

• RC drafting experience is mandatory.
• Diploma or certificate in Civil/Structural Eng or Drafting preferred.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete construction drawings and detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or relevant drafting software.
• Ability to read and understand structural and construction drawings.
• Good attention to detail, accuracy and drawing discipline.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with engineers.
• Singapore project experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to work in Singapore and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update reinforced concrete drawings, layouts, sections, details and related drafting deliverables.
• Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, specifications and mark-ups and translate them into accurate CAD drawings.
• Develop detailed RC drawings for construction and coordination purposes.
• Revise drawings based on design changes and project requirements.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural and MEP information where required.
• Check dimensions, levels, annotations and detailing for accuracy before submission.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions, file naming and document control.
• Work closely with engineers, BIM/modeling teams and project personnel to resolve drafting issues.
• Support preparation of as-built or revised drawings when required by the project.
• Meet project deadlines and maintain consistent drafting quality.
