Job summary

Takagi Ramen is seeking a reliable Kitchen Assistant to help the kitchen team with basic food prep, keep the workspace clean, and support daily operations at our Central Kitchen.

You will assist chefs, manage kitchen supplies, and follow all health and safety guidelines while staying productive in a busy, high‑paced setting. On‑the‑job training is provided and weekend or public holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Formal education is not necessary; on‑the‑job training will be offered.
• Experience in food handling or kitchen operations is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work effectively and quickly in a confined, high-paced setting.
• A basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices is required.
• Open to working flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support basic food preparation tasks as needed.
• Ensure that all areas within the outlets remain clean and hygienic.
• Maintain strict compliance with health and safety standards.
• Maintain efficiency and effectiveness while working under pressure.
• Assist customers with the POS system as needed.
• Responsible for waste management and dishwashing support when needed.
