Job summary

honsei builder pte. ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Senior / Project Engineer to support construction projects from planning to handover, coordinating site activities and ensuring design, quality, safety, and schedule requirements are met.

You will liaise with consultants, subcontractors, authorities, and internal teams, review drawings and method statements, supervise on-site operations, and help maintain project documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in building construction projects.
• Experience in commercial, institutional, A&A, or mixed-use developments is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of sequencing, site coordination, and project execution processes.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Familiar with local authority requirements, building regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution and timely resolution of site issues.
• Monitor project schedules and site progress, ensuring works meet drawings, specs, quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Supervise daily site operations and provide technical guidance to resolve construction, design, and coordination issues on-site.
• Review construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and submissions for compliance and constructability.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including progress reports and site records.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations and project safety requirements.
• Participate in site meetings, coordination meetings, and technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support project commissioning, testing, and handover activities to meet required standards.
• Perform other duties to support successful project delivery.
