Job summary

TROYTECH INTERNATIONAL CONSULTING PTE LTD is seeking a Project Engineer to lead rail E&M project coordination, oversee site installation, testing, and commissioning, and liaise with transit stakeholders. The role requires strong technical acumen, independent work style, and willingness to work night shifts as needed.

You will review specifications, drawings and procedures, supervise installation activities, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality standards across Singapore transit

Qualifications

• Recognised diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer, Network, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 3 years in project coordination, site installation, testing and commissioning of rail E&M system, communications network or fibre optic infrastructure in Singapore transit environment.
• Familiarity with Permit-to-Work (PTW), Mod Approval, engineering access procedures and stakeholder coordination in railway environments would be an advantage.
• Be expected to perform night work or engineering-hours work where required.

Responsibilities

• Review project related submissions and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Supervise on-site installation, testing, commissioning, and handover to ensure quality and compliance.
• Coordinate with project team and stakeholders to resolve site issues and clashes.
• Monitor project schedule and report progress to align with timeline.
• Attend project meetings to ensure delivery is on track.
• Supervise site surveys, routing verification, cable installation, network equipment installation and testing.
• Facilitate resolution of site constraints and technical matters.
• Support troubleshooting of network equipment configuration and system integration during installation, testing, and migration.
