Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering from a recognized polytechnic.
• Experience in Railway Signalling & PSD/Rail Communications; knowledge of networking and OS troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Strong supervisory, planning and organizing abilities.
• Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Able to supervise and work as a team at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Signalling & PSD/Rail Communications team to perform maintenance and support activities while meeting safety, reliability, operational, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Plan, organize, and ensure scheduled maintenance activities are carried out per maintenance schedule.
• Oversee and guide the team in fault diagnosis and rectification of the Signalling & PSD/Rail Communications system.
• Coordinate responses to failures and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Review fault analyses and remedial work for accuracy and documentation.
• Ensure maintenance work orders and fault reports are reviewed, approved, and submitted per standards.
• Participate in maintenance logistics to support operations.
• Perform safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Monitor housekeeping and security in equipment rooms and depots.
• Maintain system documentation and technical drawings to align with operations.
• Provide in-house training for new staff on maintenance procedures.
• Support ISO certification initiatives through audits and process improvements.
• Drive company vehicles as needed.
