Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. is recruiting for a nursing role focusing on interventional imaging procedures and patient care within a hospital setting in Singapore.

The position involves maintaining departmental standards, clinical audits, and the use of new technologies to promote quality nursing practices. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, explain procedures to patients, and supervise nursing staff in educating patients and families before and after procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining departmental standards and ensuring compliance with established clinical procedures.
• Promote quality nursing practices through clinical audits, service reviews, and the appropriate use of new technologies.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care through patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Check consent documentation and explain examination procedures, preparation requirements, and expected duration to patients.
• Contribute to the development and review of SOPs, work instructions, and nursing competency assessments based on evidence-based practice.
• Supervise and support nursing staff in delivering patient and family education before and after procedures.
• Provide nursing assistance during interventional imaging procedures and moderate sedation cases.
• Verify the accuracy of procedure charges and consumables recorded for patient billing.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety requirements.
• Recognise and manage emergencies according to hospital protocols.
• Participate in nursing quality committees and continuous improvement activities.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by the Assistant Director or Radiologist.
