Job summary

Deutsche Bank is seeking a FX Derivatives Trader for Asia Emerging Markets, joining a global team that structures and markets FX products. You will manage portfolio risk, oversee client transactions, and quote across many currencies and derivatives.

You will work closely with Sales and Structuring to identify opportunities, and contribute to pricing, risk controls, and trade execution improvements, leveraging AI tools responsibly.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of prior work experience in Asia Emerging Markets FX trading within a Tier One financial institution.
• Knowledge of quantitative trading techniques for FX or Macro across both developed and emerging markets.
• Experience with currencies including Emerging Markets, G10 and derivative products from vanilla to exotic FX options.

Responsibilities

• Managing portfolio risk-management for Asia Emerging Markets FX Derivatives global portfolios in the Asia time-zone.
• Oversee execution of client transactions and hedges across a wide range of foreign-exchange markets.
• Quoting the bank’s franchise in the region across a wide range of currencies and derivative products.
• Work closely with Sales and Structuring to identify and nurture new opportunities and relationships with institutional and corporate clients.
• Embark on project and development initiatives to improve efficiency in pricing, risk management and trade execution processes.

The Global Foreign Exchange (GFX) business is looking to hire a Trader within the Foreign Exchange (FX) Derivatives global complex.

Your Key Responsibilities:

As a FX Derivatives Trader you will be responsible for:

Your skills and experience:

To be successful in this role you will have:

• 1-4 years of prior work experience in Asia Emerging Markets FX trading within a Tier One financial institution




• Knowledge of quantitative trading techniques for FX or Macro across both developed and emerging markets




• Experience in an array of currencies including Emerging Markets, G10 and derivative products ranging from vanilla to exotic FX options




• Ability to articulate ideas confidently and concisely




• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
