Job summary

Deutsche Bank in Singapore seeks a capable markets professional to cover Private Bank and Wealth Management relationships across Asia, focusing on FX, rates and precious metals derivatives.

You will collaborate with Trading, Structuring, Legal, Compliance, and Risk, drive client pricing and onboarding, and seek operational improvements while upholding high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a Tier 1 institution with relevant market exposure.
• Understanding of FX, rates, precious metals and EM products.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; VBA and Python a plus.

• Support coverage and development of Private Bank and Wealth Management in Asia.
• Drive FX and Precious Metals OTC derivatives with Private Bank clients.
• Assist origination and execution of structured notes across asset classes.
• Provide pricing, trade support, and post-trade activities.

Job Description: Details of the Division and Team: ICG is a global sales team covering various institutional clients including Hedge Funds, Insurance companies, Asset Managers, Banks, Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Private Banks. In APAC, we have salespeople located across the regional hubs in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney as well as in several countries across Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the coverage and development of Private Bank and Wealth Management relationships across Asia.
• Drive and expand the FX and Precious Metals OTC derivatives business with Private Bank clients.
• Assist in the origination, execution and ongoing development of structured note solutions across FX, Rates and Emerging Markets asset classes.
• Provide day-to-day support for client pricing, trade execution and post-trade activities, including lifecycle events, settlements and issue resolution.
• Proactively engage with clients to strengthen relationships, identify opportunities and enhance Deutsche Bank's product penetration.
• Coordinate the onboarding of new client accounts and support product extension initiatives across existing relationships.
• Partner with internal stakeholders including Trading, Structuring, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Risk teams to facilitate efficient execution and client service.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve operational efficiency and automate repetitive processes.
• Support strategic business projects, regulatory initiatives and franchise development efforts across the region.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory, governance framework, compliance and risk management requirements.
• Uphold Deutsche Bank's values and conduct standards while delivering the highest level of professionalism and client service.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree from a Tier 1 institution, with prior experience gained through internships or other relevant exposure within Financial Markets, Derivatives or Structured Solutions.
• Understanding of FX, Rates, Precious Metals and Emerging Markets products
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated initiative, commercial mindset and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with automation tools, VBA, Python or other technology solutions.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
