Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to join its Fixed Income and Currencies team, focusing on INR FX and Rates trading in Asia and providing robust liquidity.

The role emphasizes managing Asia NDF currency flows, pricing, and risk portfolio optimization, along with execution, trade capture and P&L signoff for trading books. Collaboration with clients and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in INR FX or Rates Trading.
• Minimum 5 years as a market maker in Asia FX or Rates product.
• Strong focus on INR markets with knowledge of onshore liquidity dynamics.
• Strong history of risk management, running trading books and business development.
• Strong quantitative skills and product knowledge.
• Very strong money management skills. Liquidity provider/Market maker profile.
• Team player, willing to contribute to the collaborative success of the broader team.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs

Responsibilities

• Responsible for execution, trade capture and PNL signoff for the trading books.

• Being aware and monitoring all rate volatility markets and identifying opportunities between different markets plus ability to develop hedging strategies.

The Fixed Income and Currencies business consists of Interest Rate Derivatives, Foreign Exchange and Cash Bonds trading businesses. Your key responsibilities:

• Managing Asia NDF Currency flows along with pricing and risk portfolio optimization.
• Providing liquidity to Deutsche Bank Clients who range from financial institutions to corporates.
• Responsible for execution, trade capture and PNL signoff for the trading books.
• Continuous exploration of overall platform enhancements.

Your skills and experience:

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in INR FX or Rates Trading
• Minimum 5 years as a market maker in Asia FX or Rates product
• Strong focus on INR markets with knowledge of onshore liquidity dynamics and money market operations along with familiarity of client landscape in INR markets in Asia regions
• Strong history of risk management, running trading books and business development and in-depth proficiency managing Asia Forward Currency risk, and interest rate risk.
• Strong quantitative skills and product knowledge.
• Very strong money management skills. Liquidity provider/Market maker profile.
• Driven to provide very competitive liquidity to client base.
• Team player, willing to contribute to the collaborative success of the broader team ‘can do' positive attitude. Quick learner
