Job summary

Dyson Singapore is seeking an Engineering Technician for its Test Development Team to advance test methodologies alongside R&D Engineers, ensuring robust product verification and continuous improvement of testing processes. You will work across design and compliance teams, develop fixtures, analyze results, and contribute to lab operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or related field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
• Experience with CAD tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support development of test procedures and acceptance criteria for product verification.
• Conduct testing per prescribed matrices and standards (IEC, ASTM, QB/T, etc).
• Be knowledgeable of test environments and automated testing tools used in internal/external workflows.
• Assist in designing and prototyping test jigs/fixtures, overseeing fabrication as needed.
• Preliminary troubleshooting of test systems and fixtures; diagnose faults and remedial actions.
• Analyze test results and adjust test setups accordingly.
• Prepare test and failure reports and disseminate to stakeholders.
