Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Three to five years of experience in product development or mechanical design.
• Strong sketching and product-rendering capabilities.
• Proficient in Creo or SolidWorks for 3D modelling and drawings.
• Good knowledge of tolerance analysis, stack-up and GD&T.
• Familiar with plastic injection moulding, sheet-metal fabrication and machining.

Aufgaben

• Lead mechanical design and development from concept through production launch.
• Create 3D models, assemblies, drawings and renderings.
• Translate requirements into manufacturable design solutions.
• Perform tolerance analysis and GD&T to ensure quality and function.
• Apply DFM, DFA and material selection to optimize cost and performance.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and Project Management.
• Support prototypes, V&V, pilot runs and NPI.
• Work with suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure readiness.
• Prepare engineering documentation: drawings, BOMs, specs, ECOs, test reports.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and timelines.
• Take ownership of project deliverables and outcomes.
