Job summary

Sunningdale Tech Ltd is seeking an engineer to manage tooling drawings, lead tooling projects, and apply technical solutions to enhance yield, quality, cycle-time, and cost in a plastic injection molding environment.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma and at least 3 years of experience in plastic injection molding. Knowledge of IATF 16949, project management, and a strong drive for technical breakthroughs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years' experience in plastic injection molding environment.
• Strong tooling design/maintenance experience.
• Proficient CAD and data collection for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage tooling drawings, specifications filing, and maintenance to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Lead project management activities to execute tooling smoothly and efficiently according to agreed plans.
• Perform technical evaluations and develop solutions to resolve production issues and enhance yield, quality, process cycle-time, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct process mapping and collect production data to analyze and infer actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Utilize CAD software to design and modify tooling components aligned with project requirements and quality standards.
