Job summary

CORESTAFF PTE. LTD. seeks an R&D Technician to support process trials, equipment operation and product development in a cleanroom environment. Semiconductor or advanced packaging experience is an advantage.

The role involves operating lithography, wet/dry processing, coating and metrology equipment, with emphasis on safety, data recording and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical, Materials Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in semiconductor, electronics or precision manufacturing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate and verify semiconductor equipment across lithography, wet processing, coating, dry processing and metrology modules.
• Support R&D experiments, process trials and sample evaluations, including process setup and recipe loading.
• Prepare and handle wafers, substrates, chemicals and other materials in accordance with cleanroom and safety procedures.
• Monitor process parameters, inspect and measure samples, and record trial, lot, equipment and test data.
• Report defects, equipment alarms and process abnormalities; assist with troubleshooting and process improvements.
• Maintain cleanroom housekeeping standards and follow chemical-handling procedures.
• Perform other R&D or production support duties as assigned.

Our client is an advanced semiconductor manufacturer specialising in high-density substrates for packaging and high-performance computing. They are seeking an R&D Technician to support process trials, equipment operation and product development in a cleanroom environment. Semiconductor or advanced packaging experience is an advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and verify semiconductor equipment across lithography, wet processing, coating, dry processing and metrology modules.

• Able to work a 12-hour rotating shift when required
