Qualifications

• Beovational education is required in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or related fields as listed above.
• Experience in semiconductor, electronics or precision manufacturing is advantageous.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom and following safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate and verify semiconductor equipment across lithography, wet processing, coating, dry processing and metrology modules.
• Support R&D experiments, process trials and sample evaluations, including process setup and recipe loading.
• Prepare and handle wafers, substrates, chemicals and other materials with proper safety procedures.
• Monitor process parameters, inspect and measure samples, and record trial data.
• Report defects, equipment alarms and process abnormalities; assist with troubleshooting and improvements.
• Maintain cleanroom housekeeping standards and follow chemical-handling procedures.
• Perform other R&D or production support duties as assigned.

Summary

Our client is an advanced semiconductor manufacturer specialising in high‑density substrates for packaging and high‑performance computing. They are seeking an R&D Technician to support process trials, equipment operation and product development in a cleanroom environment. Semiconductor or advanced packaging experience is an advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and verify semiconductor equipment across lithography, wet processing, coating, dry processing and metrology modules.




• Support R&D experiments, process trials and sample evaluations, including process setup and recipe loading.




• Prepare and handle wafers, substrates, chemicals and other materials in accordance with cleanroom and safety procedures.




• Monitor process parameters, inspect and measure samples, and record trial, lot, equipment and test data.




• Report defects, equipment alarms and process abnormalities; assist with troubleshooting and process improvements.




• Maintain cleanroom housekeeping standards and follow chemical‑handling procedures.




• Perform other R&D or production support duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical, Materials Engineering or a related discipline


• Experience in semiconductor, electronics or precision manufacturing is an advantage


• Experience in chemical handling will be an added advantage


• Comfortable working in a cleanroom and controlled manufacturing environment


• Willing to handle process materials and chemicals under strict safety procedures


• Able to work a 12‑hour rotating shift when required


• Candidates with equipment maintenance, process support, engineering trial or wafer‑fab experience are welcome to apply
