ChemLexchemlex.tech in Singapore is seeking a Chemistry Laboratory Intern to support day-to-day lab operations, including preparing materials and equipment, assisting experiments, and maintaining organization.

No university degree required; training provided. Internship duration is 3 months with potential for permanent Laboratory Technician role. You will gain hands-on skills, learn chemical handling and safety, and exposure to lab automation workflows.

Competenze

• No university degree required.
• Relevant ITE, polytechnic, vocational, technical, or laboratory training preferred.
• Comfortable performing hands-on and repetitive laboratory work.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures accurately.
• Reliable, organized, and willing to learn.

Mansioni

• Support chemists with the preparation and setup of laboratory experiments.
• Prepare, label, organize, and distribute chemicals, reagents, solvents, samples, and laboratory consumables.
• Perform routine laboratory activities according to established procedures and under supervision.
• Set up, clean, and maintain laboratory glassware and equipment.
• Assist with weighing, measuring, transferring, and preparing chemicals and solutions.
• Support sample preparation and handling activities.
• Monitor and replenish laboratory consumables and supplies.
• Receive, unpack, label, and store laboratory materials appropriately.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe laboratory work areas.
• Assist with chemical inventory management and laboratory stock checks.
• Support the collection, segregation, and disposal of laboratory waste in accordance with procedures.
• Record laboratory activities and maintain basic documentation as required.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures, SOPs, and company policies at all times.
• Provide general practical support to the chemistry team.
