Job summary

Pall - Aerospace in Singapore seeks an R&D Engineer to support semiconductor cleaning process development and equipment qualification onsite in Benoi. You will troubleshoot equipment, assist startup, and drive improvements across production transfers.

You’ll work with technicians, engineers and manufacturing teams, applying knowledge of photolithography or wet processes, and may use PLC programming for automation initiatives. On-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, chemistry or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in R&D environments or process/equipment role
• Strong hands-on experience with troubleshooting equipment
• Experience with semiconductor cleaning equipment, wet process systems or high-purity fluid systems preferred
• Strong problem-solving mindset across equipment and R&D activities

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and modification of equipment to ensure reliable system operation.
• Support installation, commissioning, and readiness of equipment for R&D startup, qualification and scale-up activities.
• Support development and qualification of new cleaning recipes for advanced filtration products and cleaning processes in WEC and lithography applications.
• Leverage understanding of semiconductor processes, particularly photolithography or wet cleaning processes, to support process development, troubleshooting and application optimization.
