Job summary

APPLIED MATERIALS SINGAPORE TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Process Technician in R&D to support development and optimization of semiconductor manufacturing processes in a cleanroom environment.

You will work with engineers to execute experiments, collect data, and maintain equipment, while following SOPs. The role requires detail orientation, hands-on troubleshooting of basic recipes, and a Monday–Friday rotating shift (9:00–18:00 or 16:00–23:00).

Qualifications

• ITE/ Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Materials Science) or related field.
• > 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or R&D environment preferred.
• Familiarity with cleanroom operations and semiconductor processing equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting engineer to work on developing process technology for advanced semiconductor processes
• Responsible for performing basic recipe and CH troubleshooting during process runs and implement changes based on directions from the engineer
• Owner for the execution of module process, data collection for measurement & inspection and sharing of data with the engineer
• Interact with internal and external CH and metrology tool owners to align for tool time, execute process sequence and collect data to feedback to engineer
• Occasional over-time to support process engineering support activities
