Job summary

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore’s School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences is seeking a Project Officer to support a quantum processor development project. You will manage the administrative aspects in close collaboration with the PI, team members, and university offices.

Responsibilities include finance, procurement, event planning, travel logistics, and reporting. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in relevant settings; familiarity with SAP/Ariba is a plus, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in research, academic, or administrative settings.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SAP and Ariba experience is an added advantage.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

Execute finance, budgeting, manpower planning, grant administration, and policy interpretation to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee procurement activities, including raising PRs, POs, and GRs to streamline purchasing.
Plan and execute events such as seminars, colloquia, and conferences with successful delivery.
Manage logistics for local and international meetings and events, including travel arrangements.
Compile, analyze, and prepare reports with detailed analytical insights for decision making.
Maintain and update the website to reflect current information and meet organizational standards.
