Gammon Construction Limited is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our project teams in Singapore. You will perform quantity take-offs, prepare BOQ, review quotations, and manage contract documentation for commercial building/M&E projects.

You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, participate in progress claims, cost control, and tender analyses, and support senior staff with monthly budget reporting and award recommendations.

Formación

• Bachelor level or higher in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines.
• Experience in cost control and take-off for construction projects.

Responsabilidades

• Take off and measurement of quantities; establish detailed BOQ.
• Source, review and negotiate quotations.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders; attend project meetings and site walks.
• Assess progress claims, variations, final accounts; support tender processes.
• Prepare RFQ/subcontract tender documents; conduct cost comparisons; assist in award recommendations.
• Sub-contract administration including contract documentation and disputes handling.

• Perform taking off and measurement of quantities, and establishing detailed BOQ
• Source, review and negotiation of quotations
• Work closely and liaise with both internal and external project stakeholders
• Attend project meetings including site walks for progress claims’ evaluation
• Project budget and cost control including prepare monthly financial budget report and presentations (For Senior position)
• Prepare RFQ Subcontract tender documents, analyze and prepare cost comparison, post tender clarifications, tender interview, and award recommendation report
• Sub-Contract administration including handling contractual documentation, correspondences and disputes matters
• Assess, verify and response subcontractor's monthly progress claim, final account and variation orders in timely manner

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or in related disciplines (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil & Structural Engineering)
• At least 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar position in construction industry
• Candidate with commercial building / M&E / LTA MRT or Depot project are welcome to apply
• Candidate with more experience will be considered for a senior role
• Knowledge of PSSCOC and/or REDAS and/or SIA and/or NEC standard forms of Contracts
• Meticulous, analytical, eye for details and a good team player
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently
